Nathan Towne Trio, featuring Will Engelman & Kyle Frazier

Since relocating from California to Cheboygan in 2018, Nathan Towne has quickly established himself as a much sought-after performer in the Straits region of Northern Michigan. A guitarist of unusual talent and versatility, Nathan is equally at home performing Jazz, Classical and Rock, as well as his own original arrangements of popular standards. In addition to a busy performance schedule (including as the bassist for ’90s alt-rock group Blind Melon), he was the 2020 Artist in Residence at the Opera House, where he continues to offer instruction on guitar, piano and drums.
This March 18 Nathan returns to the Opera House stage with an evening of original jazz arrangements. Nathan (guitar / piano) will be joined by other talented local musicians who have performed at the Opera House: Will Engelman on bass and Kyle Frazier on drums. Don’t miss the debut of this new Trio!
