Earth Week Plus Expo

Earth Week Plus Free Expo with mini adventures will be held at the Cheboygan Library on Saturday, April 22nd from 10:00-2:00. Most activities will take place on the lower level of the library with the exception of Ms. Nancy’s “Trees” story and project at 1:00 upstairs in the Children’s Room.
Hands-on make and take projects such as building birds houses, mason jar bee houses, nature weaving, seed planting, a project with recycled materials and a butterfly project.
Enjoy a Magic of Recycling Show at 10:30 and 2:00.
Investigate live amphibians, turtles, lamprey, sturgeon and skulls.
Learn how to make your own compost.
Kiss the Ground film and discussion with Greta and Brendan of Harvest Thyme Farm at the Cheboygan Opera House April 16th at 2:00 pm. See how the earth’s soil can be a game changer for climate change.
